CQI's Mission Statement

Founded in 1990, Child Quest International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and recovery of missing, abused, and exploited children.  We focus on two vital aspects of child safety – prevention and recovery.

Child Quest believes education is essential to keeping our children safe.  Providing awareness and safety education to children, teens, pre-teens, and parents is the foundation of our goal to stop child victimization.

In the event a child goes missing, Child Quest assists law enforcement and families in search and recovery efforts free of charge.  The support we provide to families of the missing is Keeping Hope Alive.

Child Quest International

Keeping Hope Alive and Keeping Kids Safer

Bringing missing children home since 1990, Child Quest International has established itself amongst an international network of individuals and organizations to fortify a unified effort in the investigation, location, recovery, and reunification of missing and abducted children.

In our effort to prevent children from going missing in the first place, Child Quest has incorporated a number of nationally recognized safety education programs to effectively reach all audiences and age groups. Covering a range of topics from abduction awareness to Internet safety, Child Quest provides effective prevention education in a non-threatening manner.

As charter members of the Association of Missing & Exploited Children Organizations (AMECO) – an organization of member agencies in the United States and Canada who provide services to families with missing and exploited children – Child Quest has set a standard in promoting a unified effort to locate a missing child. We have developed a strong relationship with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and incorporate many of their materials and programs into our education curriculum – Our Kids Are Safe Kids. We also work closely with the Missing Children State Clearinghouses, and various DA offices and law enforcement agencies across the country.

Child Quest is committed to developing empowered youth as healthy leaders for tomorrow. Investing in our children creates long-term benefits for our families, communities, and a more sustainable world. By working with families, educators, law enforcement, and community groups, it is our hope that one day there will no longer be a need for organizations like Child Quest.
